Sustainably Offgrid is a business of AMH Design Limited, a company based in Hong Kong. In this Privacy Policy, “Sustainably Offgrid,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the Site. AMH Design Limited is the data user responsible for personal data collected through the Site.

Comments and Spam Protection

When you leave a comment, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as your IP address and browser user-agent string, to help detect spam. Comments may also be checked by spam-filtering tools before they are published.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service, operated by Automattic Inc., to check whether you use it. Automattic processes this information in accordance with its Privacy Policy. If you do, your profile picture may be displayed next to your comment. Once your comment is approved, it is publicly visible along with your name and, if provided, your website.

Website Security

We use security services, including Wordfence by Defiant Inc., to protect the Site against attacks, malicious traffic and unauthorized access. These services may process IP addresses, browser information and request details for security purposes.

Email Newsletters

Payments

If we offer paid products, such as digital guides or downloads, payment processing will be provided by a third-party payment or e-commerce provider, which will be identified on the checkout page. That provider may collect and process payment-card details, billing information, transaction information and device information as necessary to process payments, prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations, in accordance with its own privacy practices.

We do not receive or store your complete payment-card number or other full payment credentials. We may receive limited information about your purchase, such as your name, email address, billing country, transaction amount, payment status and order identifier.

How We Share Information

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:

• Service providers: companies that provide hosting, security, content delivery, analytics, spam filtering, email, payment processing, website operation and similar services on our behalf.
